“I worked closely with Mark Maltsberger when I was Community Director for the Brazos Valley March of Dimes and Mark served as Chair of the Board of Directors.  During his tenure, our local chapter created a NICU family support program and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through the annual March for Babies and Signature Chefs events.  Mark continued his work as liaison between MOD and the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets for the annual March to the Brazos  –  a role that he created in the mid 90’s when he was a Cadet.  March to the Brazos is the largest student-led fundraiser in the nation for MOD.  During the last 40 years, March to the Brazos has raised over $2.3 million.

Mark Maltsberger is a tireless advocate for services improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. My family and I are proud to endorse his candidacy; he will continue to serve Brazos County as Judge of County Court at Law #2.”

I served as Commandant of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University from1987-1996. During the fall of 1993 I summoned “fish” Maltsberger to my office, where I awarded him a Commandant’s Leadership Award scholarship. During that meeting, I charged the young man to serve and lead in his community, his state, and his nation. In the intervening years, Mark has answered that charge. He dedicates his time to numerous charitable organizations in the Bryan/CollegeStation area and serves as a zealous advocate for his clients and his profession. Mark is ready to take his next step in service, and I am proud to endorse his candidacy forJudge of Brazos County Court at Law #2
